What families can do
Hillsborough County Public Schools says its Magnet & Choice Expo runs today, Monday, Oct. 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Jefferson High School in Tampa. The district is promoting the event as a way for families to compare school-choice and magnet programs across Hillsborough County in one place.
The district says families can meet school representatives, learn about programs that match a student’s interests, and see which schools will be attending before they register. HCPS also says parents should use HCPSChoice.com to get ready to apply.
Jefferson High School is at 4401 Cypress Street, which gives Tampa families a central place to stop by if they want to review options in person before making enrollment decisions.
