Armature Works will hold its 9th annual Fall Fest this weekend in Tampa Heights. Hours are noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, on the West Lawn and Market Street.

Entry is free both days, according to the venue's event page. A few kids' activities carry a cost, and those are paid for at the festival.

What costs extra

The bounce zone is for kids 5 and up and requires a $20 all-day activity pass, sold onsite at the festival. A pass is good for one day, so families coming both days need a second pass for Sunday.

Face painting and the animal rides are paid for separately. Pony and camel rides are open to all ages, so younger siblings can ride. The petting zoo is also part of the kids' lineup. Armature Works says the camel line tends to be the longest of the weekend.

For adults, there is a fall market with local vendors, live music, and fall cocktails and food from the Armature Works restaurants. Food and drinks are pay as you go.

Getting there with kids or dogs

Parking and rideshare pickup are in front of Steelbach at the main entrance, 1910 N. Ola Ave. The West Lawn is stroller accessible, and stroller parking is available onsite. Leashed dogs are welcome at the outdoor event.

If the weather turns

Fall Fest is outdoors. Armature Works says it will post severe-weather updates on its Instagram and Facebook accounts, so check those before heading out. The restaurants, bars and shops inside stay open in any conditions.

Can't make the weekend?

The pumpkin patch is open Thursday through Sunday through Nov. 1. Walking through and taking photos are free, and pumpkins are for sale onsite.

Show + Tell, inside the building, is holding six fall classes in October. Seats are limited, and each class requires separate registration.
